The 14th winner of the 2000 Guineas, held on Tuesday 23rd April 1822 over the Rowley Mile, was Pastille (4/6 fav), a bay filly by Rubens out of Parasol, owned by the 4th Duke of Grafton, who won in a common canter. A field of 3 runners contested the race which was worth 1300 Guineas (Equivalent to £137,800 in 2017)
